Candidates
On
Tuesday afternoon a very largely attended confirmation service was
held in St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Auburn.
In fact, the attendance was so large that many were unable to gain
admittance to the sacred edifice. There were 300 candidates,
including 20 adults. Co-adjutor Archcbishop Shee has
administered the sacrament, assisted by Rev. A. G. Clark, MC., Rev. W.
Clark, deacon, and Rev. P. Mullens, sub-deacon.
